DESIGN APPROACH
At Studio Soela, architecture is a medium for exploring how cultural identities build, live, and think within specific places and times. By reframing these layered experiences through new perspectives, we uncover enduring values that can meet the evolving needs of our world’s many cultural communities.
Each project begins with an honest attempt to see things as they truly are—to understand their nature.
This clarity brings us to the core. From there, concepts are nurtured through an iterative process of making, allowing ideas to unfold through hands-on exploration.
This ever-evolving approach leads to buildings that seek to capture the essence of their theme—through thoughtful material choices and careful attention to use. The result is architecture so deeply rooted in its environment and culture that it feels as though it was born, not made.
